Ballarat By The Glass

Ballarat WineI write this while a cheeky glass of Mitchell Harris’ Rosé seductively beckons me with its potent plop of oak and strawberry. Conjured from plump local Pyrenees fruit, it’s a perfect drop to celebrate the end of another long BallaFornian winter, and is a stupendous  introduction to the glorious nectar that drips from the heavenly vines around here.

I’m happy to report that it won’t be the only locally-crafted glass of yum that I will be enjoying responsibly this month, because during November BallaForninan restaurants, pubs, cafes and bars will be putting on a spread of the finest Ballarat wines and food.
